Poon- hill trekking is one of the most popular and easiest trekking destination of Nepal. It has subtropical to alpine vegetation and climates is found changing with the elevation. Trekking on the Poon- Hill allows to explore through rhododen dron forests over the foothills of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri and through the deepest gorge Kaligandaki in the world.
Climate in this region does not remain constant as the cold winds from the Tibetan plateau rush through the south. Thrung La Pass, Jomsom Muktinath, Ghorepani, Annapurna Base camp, and Ghandrung are some of the famous Trekking destination of this region which is lies in the western part of Nepal . This region is the popular in the world. we see the lot's mountain views Annapurna south (7219M ), Annapurna I (8091M) , Annapurna II (7937M), Annapurna III , Annapurna IV, Machhapuchhre (6993M) , Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri( 8167M) Hiunchuli(6441M), Lamjung Himal (6931M) and other many more peak and mountains views.
This trek known also as the small Annapurna Circuit is a very popular one in Nepal . The highest point of this trek (3200 mtrs) and for many the highlight is an early morning pilgrimage to Poon Hill for a spectacular sunrise over the Himalayas where the mountains stretch as far as the eye can see North towards Tibet West towards the Dhaulagiri Himal and East with superb views of the Annapurna Himal. Not a difficult trek but it helps if you have a reasonable degree of fitness. This trek is considered to be the best introduction to trekking with some spectacular views. | Day 01 . |
Receive you on the Kathmandu Airport. if you have time couple of hours sightseeing on Pashupetinath with licence holder tour guide. Then transfer to hotel. (A. ) |
| Day 02 |
Drive to Pokhara (7 hrs) by Tourist bus, Then transfer to hotel Green Tara. Evening cultural programs (B, L, A) |
| Day 03 |
Drive to Nayapul by car / taxi, trek to Ulleri (1960 m.) (B, L, D, A) |
| Day 04 |
Ulleri to Ghorepani (2750 m.) . A short hike to the hill for evening sunset view. (B, L, D, A) |
| Day 05 |
Early morning hike up to Poon- hill again for the sunrise view. Having breakfast trek to Tadapani (2590 m.) (B, L, D, A) |
| Day 06 |
Tadapani to Ghandrung (1940 m.). Visit to the gurung museums and experience with local handicraft and culture. (B, L, D, A) |
| Day 07 |
Ghandrung to Pothana (1900 m.) (B, L, D, A) |
| Day 08 |
Trek all the way down to the Phedi drive back to Pokhara by car. Then explore the city by yourself . overnight hotel. (B, L, D, A) |
| Day 09 |
Drive or Fly back to Kathmandu . Then transfer to your hotel. (B, A) |
| Day 10 |
Drop to the kathmandu international airport for your onward destination.( B.) |
