Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek Itinerary
Day 01
Arrival at Kathmandu valley (1348m)
Receive you in Kathmandu Tribhuwan International Airport and short introduction with our representative and transfer to Hotel in Kathmandu/Planet Bhaktapur in 3 star categories with B/B plan.
Day 02
Sightseeing in Kathmandu valley
Full day sightseeing with license holder English speaking tour guide such as Pashupati Nath temple, Bodh Nath Stupa, Kapan Monastery, Kathmandu Durbar Square and Swambhunath Stupa.
Day 03
Kathmandu to Pokhara (900m), 6:30 hrs by Tourist bus
Better to take flight during the Monsoon Season, only 30 minutes by flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara. Overnight at Hotel. In the afternoon you will be with your trekking Guide to Observe the Natural Beautiful town Pokhara.
Day 04
Trek to Hile or Tikhedhunga (1575m), 5 hrs
After having breakfast, an hour drive to your trek starting point Nayapool, 20 minutes walk further to reach Birethati. This is the little village with Mix culture, lifestyle, Traditions of Gurung Ethnic groups. Annapurna Conservation checkpoint is also here just across the modi river. Here, you will show your trekking permit and TIMS in the National park office. After that turn to the left along the river Bhurungdi khola. During the day trekking, you will pass several mix and nice local villages and lush green terraces. Finally you reach on Hile. This place offers scenic view of the terraces and landscapes and as well as local villages so we would like to recommend you to stay here for overnight. However, reaching Tikhedhunga is just about 20 minutes. Overnight at Guest House.
Day 05
Trek to Ghorepani(2850m), 6: 30 hrs
After having Breakfast you will follow the trail to get Ulleri village for around 2 hours climbing passing through terrace field and small forest.
This is a small village surrounding by small forest with good view of Annapurna South. You will walk further to reach Ghorepani. On the way there are few Tea houses. Overnight at Guest House.
Day 06
Trek from Ghorepani to Poon Hill (3180m.) to Tadapani (2675m) 7:30hrs
Early morning trip to Poon Hill (3232m.) to enjoy the sunrise view over Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m.), Tukuche Peak (6920m.), Nilgiri (6940m.), Varaha Shikhar (7847m.), Mt. Annapurna I (8091m.), Annapurna South (7219m.), Annapurna III (7855m.), Machhapuchhre (6993m.), Annapurna IV (7525m.), Annapurna II (7937m.), Lamjung Himal (6931m.) and other numerous snowcapped mountain peaks. After sunny breakfast,
Gtepl staffs will lead you to the top of Deurali hill station. Trek to Tadapani (2650 m.) offers deep forests of rhododendrons, bamboos, Oaks and frequently see waterfalls, rocks, wild animals, local birds and green scenarios. Tadapani is a small village surrounded by beautiful forests which grants you a magnificent view of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Fishtail, and Annapurna II and so on. Stay overnight in the guest house.
Day 07
Trek from Tadapani (2675m.) to Ghandruk (1950m), 3hrs
It is very easy trek by descending gently all the way through rhododendron, oak and other kinds of dense forests. You could hear different kinds of birds chirping on the way. This is one of the popular destinations for the birds' lovers. Ghandruk is a big Gurung village. There is a handicraft centre and Gurung museum. From this village you can see the views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Gangapurna (7455m.), Annapurna III (7755m.) and Fishtail.
Day 08
Trek from Ghandruk to Nayapul (Pokhara): 5hrs
It is very easy trek by descending gently half of the way through the rice field and local villages. From Ghandruk to until syaulibazar we normally descending then we walk flat part untill Nayapul then we 1:30 scenic drive to Pokhara fewa lakeside.
Day 09
Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu
Drive to Kathmandu by tourist bus 6 hours and transfer to hotel Kathmandu/Bhaktapur with B/B plan.
Day 10
Final departure
After breakfast, End of our services with departure transfer to the Kathmandu airport to board flight for your onward destination!!!
