Day 01
Arrival day in Kathmandu (1,348m)
Upon arrival in Kathmandu airport we will receive you with private car and transfer to hotel in Kathmandu or Bhaktapur with breakfast. Our representative will give you information about further programs.
Day 02
A Guided sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley
We take you to visit the pilgrimage sites of Hindus temple Pashupatinath, one of the most important shrine of Shiva temples on the subcontinent which is place of thousand of devotees, Saddhus (holy men/Baba), and can be seen the cremating body most of the times in the holy riverbank of Bagmati. Hundreds of monkeys are giggling with you and take a time to exploring surrounding area and visit Bouddhanath stupa an another pilgrimage centre which is most popular and important place for Buddhist. You can explore with rounding prayer wheel and flattering colorful flag with melodious chanting noise. After visiting Bouddhanath stupa well drive to the City of Devotees (Bhaktapur). This traditional and traffic free town is the third biggest town in the Valley. We’ll explore the medieval like squares, courtyards and temples of this vibrant town. After a stop for lunch at restaurant in Bhaktapur it’s time to drive back to Kathmandu.
Day 03
Kathmandu to Jiri (2,370m) 8-9 hrs drive
By this morning, guide will come to take you to the Old Bus Park station for jiri. During the journey, you will drive by bus via the Araniko highway with a scenic countryside to Lamosangu whilst passing the old Newar towns of Banepa and Dhulikhel you will have an excellent panoramic view of the eastern Himalayas, including Ganesh Himal, Langtang Lirung and Dorjee Lakpa. The road descends to Panchkhal, then climbs over a ridge behind Dolalghat and follows the Sunkoshi north to Lamasangu. After passing several villages you will reach Charikot which is a district capital of the Dolakha. We further drive and reach at Jiri for the overnight at the Guest house
Day 04
Jiri trek to Shivalaya (1800m) 5hrs
We start our trek at the end of the paved road in Jiri. After crossing a stream the track leaves the road and starts to climb uphill through trees to several wooden bhattis at the tiny settlement of Bharkur. We keep climbing to the Mali Danda (2440m), from where there are good views of the peaks near Rolwaling. Beyond Mali Danda we descent into the Khimti valley through the sparsely populated Sherpa settlement of Mali at 2220m and continue our way to the crossing of the Yelung Khola river at 1800m. After crossing the Khimti Khola River on another suspension bridge we will reach Shivalaya.
Day 05
Shivalaya trek to Bhandar (2190m) 5hrs
From Shivalaya we start the day with a steep ascent towards the pass at Deurali (2710m). On our way to this pass we will cross numerous streams and walk through the villages of Sangbadanda (2180m), Khasrubas (2330m) and Mahabhir (2590m). From Deurali pass we steeply descent on stone steps through fields and pastures Bhandar. Overnight at Guest house..
Day 06
Bhandar to Sete (2,575m) 7hrs
From the village square at Bhandar the trail descents through the lower fields of the village, passing the small settlements of Doharpa and Baranda before crossing the Tharo Khola River on a steel bridge at 1480m. As we follow the east bank of the river we climb towards Kenja (1600m), a settlement inhabited by Newars and Magars. As we leave Kenja we start to ascent steeply towards Chimbu (2170m) and continue on towards Sete where we will spend the night at Guest house.
Day 07
Sete to Lamjura pass (3,530m) to Junbesi (2,680m) 6hrs
Today's' walk leads to a gradual climb on the good path, passing through few small scattered farm houses and teahouses. After few hours of good walk through the beautiful rhododendron forest, reaching at Lamjura Pass (3,530m), which is the highest point between Jiri and Namche Bazaar. The trail then descends through fir and rhododendron forest and emerges after one and half hrs at Taktor. Traverse on the north side of the valley round a notch before dropping down to the Sherpa village of Junbesi for an overnight stop.
Day 08
Junbesi to Nunthala (2,330m) 6hrs
Below Junbesi the trail crosses the Junbesi Khola on a wooden bridge. Just beyond the bridge there is a trail junction. The route to Khumbu follows the left-hand trail that leads uphill. This trail turns north, descending through Salung. From here, Mt. Everest can be seen on a clear day towards north east. Past Salung the walk leads downhill to the stream, after crossing the bridge a short climb brings you at Ringmo and then towards the Tak-Shidno Pass.
From Takshindo is mostly downhill through the alpine forest of oaks, rhododendron, pines and hemlock trees on the trail, there are a few shepherds' huts, but the route is mostly hidden in dense forest. The trail crosses several picturesque streams on wooden bridges just before reaching Nunthala (Mani dingma) at 2,320m and overnight stay here.
Day 09
Nunthala to Bupsadanda (2300m) 5hrs
From Nhuntala the descent continues to the Dudh Kosi (‘Milk River’) and cross this river using a 109m long suspension bridge (1510m). Our trek then climbs out of the river valley through fields of barley, wheat and corn to the sprawling Rai village of Jubing (1680m). We continue to climb up a ridge to a Sherpa village named Khari Khola (2010m). Beyond this village we climb past some water driven mills to Bupsa. Overnight at Guest house.
Day 10
Bupsadanda to Surkhe (2,290m) 6hrs
The trail ascends from Bupsa and head on to Bhumsing, (2,300m) the trail continues to climb through a tributary valley filled with prickly leaned oak and rhododendron forest, where languor monkeys may occasional be seen. Descend (305m) and cross the next tributary after one hour. Continue on the north side of the valley to reach Puiyan (2,796m) a small place in the middle of the trail to Surkhe, an ideal spot for lunch stop. After Puiyan walk leads on the long winding trail with few small ups and downs just before the long downhill Surkhe, one can view the Lukla airstrip and the town at Lukla.
Day 11
Surkhe to Phakding (2,610m) 5:30 hrs
The trail now leaves this tributary valley and heads more directly north towards Chaurikharka, another dispersed village. Before ascending to Chaurikharka (2,713m) the main trail crosses a spectacular deep gorge with a high waterfall (2,408m). Chaurikharka, a large scattered village with monastery and high school and this place is also the bread basket for the Khumbu area as the land is fertile and harvest crops like barley, wheat and enough green vegetables, after this village the trail from Lukla joins towards Phakding, making the path quite busy with more trekkers, porters and pack animals and few hours of good scenic walk brings you at Phakding for the overnight.
Day 12
Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m) 6hrs
The trek start in the morning and after crossing the suspension bridge over the Dudh-Kosi the walk is pleasant with few short uphill and downhill and re-crossing the same river again with magnificent view of Mt. Thamserku (6,608m) from the Benkar village.
When enter the National park boundary we descend and a gradual walk brings us to the suspension bridge over the Bhote-Koshi river, after the bridge Jorsalle village is reached, the last village till Namche Bazaar, from here the walk is pleasant on the river bed till the last bridge over the Imjatse river is reached, from here the walk is along the winding uphill path all the way to Namche Bazaar, with magnificent view of Kwangde peak and it other sister peaks towards east with Kusum Kangaru on the back as you climb higher, view of Mt. Everest, Lhotse and the closer view of Tawache peak can be seen from some part on the way to Namche.
Day 13
Acclimatization at Namche Bazzar
We take rest at Namche Bazaar (3440m) for acclimatization. It is considered as an ideal place for acclimatization to the high altitude before heading towards Tyangboche. We go up to Khhumjung monastery. It is a small settlement of Sherpa community. We enjoy the splendid view of Mt. Everest, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Nuptse, Lhotse, Tawche, Kwangde and so on from here. While returning to Namche, we would visit Museum just above the town that exhibits Sherpa culture.
Day 14
Namche Bazaar to Tyangboche (3867m) 5hrs
Taking breakfast at Namche Bazaar, we would be heading towards Tyangboche (3867m). The trail goes ahead leaving a steep cliff that drops down to the Dudh Kosi. In this section too, we would have a panoramic view of the Himalayas such as Ama Dablam (6812m), Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse (7855m) and Tawoche (6501m). We would visit Trashinga, Phunki Tenga and reach Tyangboche. Tyangboche offers a good view of sun rise and sun set at Everest and Ama Dablam.
Day 15
Tyangboche to Dingboche (4260m) 5hrs
We trek from Tyangboche to Dingboche (4260m). Leaving Tyangboche at the backdrop, we descend through a rhododendron forest and enter Deboche. Crossing a suspension bridge at Imja Khola, we head towards Minlinggo and inter Imjatse Valley beneath the mighty peaks of Ama Dablam, Nuptse and Lhotse. We finally come to Dingboche to stay overnight.
Day 15
Acclimatization at Dingboche (4260m) , Hike to Nagarjun Hill to explore Makalu
During this day, we could hike to the view point of Najarjun Hill station to explore amazing scenic view of Island peak, Ama Dablam, Makalu, Tawoche, Cholatse and several other mountains on close distance. Descend down to the guest house for lunch. Or after lunch you might also hike to Chhukung and Chhukung Ri which offers also the majestic view of all the Aamadablam, Island Peak, Lhotse, Cholatse and Tabouche. And descend down to Dingboche for overnight stay.
Day 16
Dingboche to Lobuche (4930m) 5hrs
It is our turn to head towards Lobuche from Dingboche which is situated at a distance of five and half hours normal walk. The onward trail is gentle up to Pheriche village. Along the trail, we would be privileged to have panoramic views of the Mt.Tawache, Ama Dablam, Pokalde (5741m), Kongma-tse (5820m) and the great wall of Nuptse. We would have lunch at Dugla (4595m) and trek to Lobuche.
Day 17
Lobuche to Gorakhshep(5180m) Everest Base Camp (5364m) 7hrs
Having breakfast at Lobuche, we trek to Everest Base Camp via Gorakshep (5140m.). It is the most rewarding section of the trek. Our trail winds up through rocky path and Khumbu glacier. The view of Nuptse, Lho-La and Khumbutse appear at a stone throwing distance. Visit Everest Base Camp and come back to Gorakshep.
Day 18
Gorakshep to Kala Patthar (5545m) and then to Pheriche (4243m) 6hrs
We trek from Gorakshep to Kala Patthar (5545m.) and trek to Pheriche (4243m.). Early morning, we get ready to climb Kala Patthar (5545m.) and enjoy the view of sunrise. We would see Mt. Everest, Mt. Pumori, Mt. Lingtren, Mt. Khumbetse, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Thamserku and many more from Kala Patthar. Himalayan Rescue Association Aid Post is available at Pheriche. Foreign volunteer doctors are there to provide medical treatment.
Day 19
Pheriche to Tyangboche (3867m) 4:30hrs
Trek from Pheriche to Tyangboche (3867m). We would visit the research centre and trek to Tyangboche. During the main trails, one can enjoy descending through rhododendron forest. Tyangboche is famous for the oldest monastery. From the monastery, one can enjoy the splendid view of Ama Dablam, green hills and river.
Day 20
Tyangboche to Namche Bazaar (3440m) 5hrs
It is our turn to trek from Tyangboche to Namche Bazaar (3440m). During the trail we will visit traditional villages like Khumjung and Khunde. We will be visiting monastery that has Yeti Scalp. Finally, we come to Namche Bazaar in the late afternoon
Day 21
Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2886m) 7hrs
Having breakfast in the teahouse at Namche Bazaar, we trek down all the way to Lukla. It is the last day of our trekking tours. Lunch will be served on the way on guest house. Upon arrival at Lukla, we would get refreshed and take rest.
Day 22
Lukla to Kathmandu
In the morning, we take the tiny aircraft to flight from Lukla to Kathmandu which is very interesting scenery flight journey on the earth. After arrival in Kathmandu airport we drive you to hotel.
Day 23
Back to your own destination
After breakfast, End of our services with departure transfer to the Kathmandu airport to board flight for your onward destination.
