Numbur Cheese Circuit Trekking
If you want to escape the congestion of commercialized trekking trails and off the beaten track then plan your trek to the recently developed trekking trail, the number cheese circuit (NCC). Situated in ramechhap, some 190km east of capital city Kathmandu, NCC is a 14 to 16 day circuit trail connecting two beautiful river valleys; khimti and lokhu in the lap of Everest and rolwaling region. Named in honor of the virgin peak Numburchuli (6959m) and one of the Nepal’s first yak cheese factories, established in 1957; the NCC trails offer visitors the superb and breathtaking view of majestic Himalayan peaks including Everest range, Numburchuli, Gaurishankar, Jugal and langtang himal range combined with the still virgin and vibrant Sherpa cultural attraction. NCC is primarily an eco-lodge camping trek combined with the unique home-stay experience among Sherpa communities. NCC is equally potential for both domestic and international visitors.
Nuwakot Village Tour
one of district of Nepal located in northern part of Kathmandu valley. Our special introduced trekking program to Tamang Village in Nuwakot district. The trekking trail takes the travelers through low altitude hill covered with forests, terraced fields, fish ponds, and traditional Tamang villages. The travelers will experience ethnic cultural practices of Shamanism along with the magnificent view of the Ganesh Himalayan range, Langtang Himalayan range, Manaslu and Annapurna Himalayan ranges from the top of the hill. The trail passes through desolate villages which are still unexplored by any foreign visitors till date. The trip starts from Kathmandu and it is just 1 ½ hour’s drive. The trekking tour will be only for four to five days with home stay and the travelers can even continue further journey to Chitwan National Park & Pokhara via this Tamang village. There are no lodges available to spend overnight throughout the trekking period. The only option for the travelers is to stay at local families’ homes for overnight accommodation and with local organic food. Combining a trekking trip to this village with the home stay facilities could be an excellent opportunity to experience Nepal’s rural lifestyle of the people and Tamang local culture. During the stay in the village, visitors are free to explore the surroundings and undertake trekking trip accompanied by a family member as a guide. Visitors can also participate in the local festivals or join the family chores as they wish.
