Nepal mountaineering association declared the Mt. Yubra Himal peak in group A category climbing peak. Main attraction of Yubra Himal peak is panoramic views of Himalayan peaks like Lantang Lirung (7246m), Dorje Lakpa (6990m) Ganesh Himal, Langshisha Ri, Naya kanga and Shishapangma (8027m) etc. Yubra Himal peak is situated at Langtang Himalayan range in langtang region at Rasuwa District, Nepal.

Yubra himal peak climbing itinerary
Day 01
Meet at Kathmandu Airport and transfer to hotel(1348m)
Upon your arrival at the Tribhuvan intl. airport our representative welcomes you and assists to transfer in your hotel in Kathmandu/Bhaktapur. After time to get refreshed, and briefing about your trip and overnight at Hotel.
Day 02
Sightseeing of World Heritage sites (BB)
All aspects of gear and conditions are discussed to make sure you're fully prepared for the trip, and any last minute questions answered. After lunch we explore this medieval capital. We visit Boudhanath, also known as little Tibet. Then we visit Pasupatinath, holy temple of Hindu where cremation takes place by the holy river Bagmati. Later we visit Patan Durbar Square, Kathmandu Durbar Square and Syambhunath Stupa.
Day 03
Drive to Syabrubensi Village, (A,B,L,D).
This morning we'll drive on a northern highway that twists and climbs over mountain ridges to the Trishuli valley for lunch and on to Sybru village for the overnight. The journey will take 8-9 hours through picturesque landscapes, mountain scenery and local villages. From Syabru we'll have magnificent views of Mt. Ganesh Himal, Manaslu and Mt Kerung of Tibet. We'll relax tonight at a local teahouse, overnight stay in lodge.
Day 04
Trek to Lama Hotel village, (A,B,L,D)
After breakfast we start to walk own our pace and the trail ascends for around two hours through the forest followed by a climb of about an hour to reach Bamboo village (1,850m) where we'll stop for lunch. This forested path with well stabilized trails and following the upstream and can be seen birds life around the bushes. Bee hives hanging on a cliff are another attraction for the visitors. From here we'll again steeply climb through the bamboo forest to reach the Lama Hotel, overnight stay in lodge.
Day 05
Trek to Langtang Village, (A,B,L,D)
Today we'll have a pleasant walk and follow the trail through rhododendron and pine forest for around three hours to reach Ghora Tabela where we'll stop for lunch. This surrounding area dense wild habitat area and many small babblers with lot of herbal can be found here. After lunch we'll walk another three hours on the scenic trail takes us to Langtang village where we'll relax for the evening, overnight stay in lodge.
Day 06
Trek to Kyanjin Gompa Village and the same day hiking to Kyangin Ri, (A,B,L,D)
After sunny breakfast this morning, your trek continue up the ever-widening valley to Kyanjin Gompa. After passing through the Upper Langtang village you will walk past a series of long mani walls. To the east you will gain great views of the peak Dorji Lakpa" with Urkinmang" to its left. Also to the south, the peaks of Naya Kanga" and Pongen Dopku" will come into view. After a steep, undulating trail you will cross a rise and Kyangjin Gompa will appear. Kyangjin Gompa lies in an elongated amphitheatre surrounded by high, snow-capped peaks. While you are here you may want to explore the local area. It is possible to climb the small hill to the north of the village at the height of about 14,107ft/4m. This offers great views of Langtang Lirung (23,765ft/7,245m), the Langtang glacier, Kimshing peak with its glacier and to the south, a long ridge on top of which is the Ganja La, a high pass to Helambu. Alternatively you could continue east to the valley and visit the Lagshisha glacier which marks the end of the Langtang valley. A hike to Tscheurkuri offers the best mountains in 180 deg panorama.
Day 07
Trek to Yubra Himal Base Camp (4900 m / 16072 ft) , (A,B,L,D)
Day 08
Trek to High Camp (5500 m / 18040 ft), (A,B,L,D)
Day 09
Summit day (6035 m / 19795 ft) and trek descend down to Base Camp , (A,B,L,D)
Day 10
Reserve day for contingency,
There is no such guarantee that we can get quite a favorable weather on our planned day for the summit, so this day is used as a contingency in case if we are unable to summit the Lobuche due to bad weather condition or some other reasons. If weather gets exceptionally unfavorable we wisely have to postpone the program of summiting the peak. Sometimes somebody in the group may get some problems in acclimatizing well enough to make the ascent; the day can be used in that condition too. If the trip goes smoothly, we do not need this spare day.
Day 11
Trek descend to Kyangin Gomba, (A,B,L,D)
Day 12
Back to Lama Hotel village , (A,B,L,D)
This morning we'll retrace our steps somewhat as we head back from the Gompa. We have an easy downhill and pleasant walk through the rhododendron forest to Lama Hotel where we'll rest for the night before continuing our journey tomorrow for the Thulo Syabru village.
Day 13
Trek to Thulo Syabru village, (A,B,L,D)
Today our trail leads again through bamboo & rhododendron forest where we may see the local wild boar as well as other animal and bird life on the route to Thulo Syabru. During the route we'll have marvelous views of Mt Ganesh Himal, so close it seems like it's beside us. Firstly easy downhill follows the river bank but last part steeply uphill for couple of hours to get to the village.
Day 14
Trek to Dhunche village , (A,B,L,D)
This morning after breakfast we'll be ready for trek onwards to Dhunche. This is quite pleasant walk through the forested path and some old Tamang village's takes to get 4-5 hrs. After arrival in Dhunche, rest of the time explores the town which is headquarters of Rasuwa district. This will be your last night with your trekking crew except trekking Guide. Trekking crew will organize a farewell ceremony, Nepali song and dance, staff members will be allowed to drink to join the party. You may want to try local drink called “Rakshi”, please be aware; it does not taste good and is very strong.
Day 15
Drive back to Kathmandu (BB)
Today we'll have an early morning drive to Kathmandu. It will take 8-9 hrs. We'll reach Kathmandu late afternoon then enjoy our night at Thamel. Upon arrival, any hired gears will be collected and your international flight tickets will be distributed.
Day 16
Final departure
Drop you in Kathmandu International Airport onward your final destination and our trip ends.

Yubra Himal peak climbing cost includes
- Kathmandu International airport transfer by private car/van/bus.

- Nepal entry visa fee (you may easily issue the visa upon your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport - Kathmandu). You will require 2 passport size photos.

- Entrance fees while sightseeing tour in Kathmandu valley.
