Our trek to Chisopani and Nagarkot hill stations are a classical trek and itinerary to discover the scenic Himalayan view from both hill station. The particular route is designed for world explorers who wish to walk around or nearby Kathmandu within a more relaxed style.

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu valley. Transfer to hotel

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, Tribhuvan International Airport, we will receive you with private vehicle and transfer to hotel in Kathmandu within B/B plan. Our representative will give you information about further programs.

Day 02: Kathmandu to Chisapani (2215m/7265 feet), 5 hours walking

Trek begins after an hour drive to Sundarijal Bazaar, where there is small hydroelectricity station in the northeast corner of the Kathmandu valley. The walk leads to a climb through the subtropical forest to an oak forest and on to Tamang settlements of Mulkharka. The trail again ascends through oak forest to a pass called Burlung Bhanjyang. After reaching on the pass, we walk downhill to Chisopani for the overnight stop. Chisapani offers brilliant views of the Jugal mountain range including Langtang, Ganesh in the far east, and Manaslu, Annapurna towards far west. Overnight at Guesthouse.

Day 03: Trek from Chisapani to Nagarkot hill (2,195 m/7,178 feet), 6 hours

Trek from Chisopani to Nagarkot leads between the village and forest with the great views of country site and mountain. A famous Nagarkot hill station offers breathtaking Himalayan views, quality accommodation, and high standards in service. Nagarkot is much more away from the hustle and bustle of urban life. The best place to see sunset and sunrise over the great Himalayan ranges. During the sunset, you will have one of the best views of the Kathmandu valley. Stay overnight in Lodge at Nagarkot.

Day 04: Sunrise view over the Himalayas. Return!

Early in the morning to get a sunrise view over the tallest Himalayas. If you wish to walk around 4 kilometers in the morning than a hike to Nagarkot view Tower. From here, you can see the breath-taking views of the major mountains like Mt.Manaslu, Mt.Ganesh family, Langtang lirung, Dorje Lakpa, sisa pagma, Cho-oyu, Gauri Shankar, etc.

On a clear crystal day, one can even see the Mt. Everest (8848 m) not bigger than a dot on the same range. Likewise, on your way back, you will pass Changunarayan temple which is the oldest temple of Nepal and is listed in the world heritage site UNESCO. It is said that Changu Narayan temple has been built by King Hari Dutta in 323 AD. You can explore the culture and history of Changu Narayan temple while on hiking. After sightseeing here, we have lunch and drive back to Kathmandu. This trip consists of about 6 hours altogether.

Day 05: Final departure day

Drop you in Kathmandu International Airport onward your final destination and our trip ends. We wish you for your return back to home.

Answer: Most of the places perhaps you can find hotels and shops where you can able to buy mineral water and you can buy it for drinking but however we advise against buying mineral water in plastic bottles, as currently there are no provisions for disposing of these. Answer: During the lodge trekking there will be more chances to charge the battery. We recommend you bring an extra pair for in case. Remember to bring your adapters! An extra battery will be recommended.

If you wish to have a private porter, you might also get it on paying an extra cost.

Question: How much distance do I walk each day?.

Answer: When walking in the mountains, the distance you cover each day can vary greatly due to a gradient, terrain, and altitude. As such it is very hard to give specific distances on each day, however, you have to be prepared to walk roughly about 5 hours each day.

Question: Do I need walking polls?.

Answer: Walking pools are recommended but not compulsory.

Question: How much additional money do I need per day?.

Answer: You can allocate US$ 08 – 10 for a lunch / dinner in Kathmandu and it depends on your spending habits. US$ 7 to 10 US$ each day will be enough to buy bottles of water, chocolates, tea coffee and some drinks while you are on trek.
