Gosaikunda (4380m.) lake is situated to the north of Kathmandu, a well reputated pilgrimage trek tour destination less touristic area of Langtang region, conducts the trip after a long drive to Dunche. Gosaikunda is basically Hindu's and Buddhist pilgrimage sites. Gosaikunda Lake is believed to have created by lord Shiva. When he thrust his trident in to a mountain to draw water so that he could cool his burning throat after swallowing poison. There is a large rock at the center of the lake, which is said to be the remains of the Shiva shrine. It is also said that the water from this lake disappears underground via a subterranean channel and surface in Kumbeshwor pool, adjoin to the five stored temple of Shiva located nearby Patan durbar square. About thousands of devotees make a pilgrimage tour to discover this lake on the on full moon day held in the middle of June to middle of August to take a ritual holy dips in the cold mountain water.

As soon as having a breakfast in the hotel, we take a jeep drive from Kathmandu to Dhunche Bazzar. At first, you will pass the scenic view point of Shivapuri then drive down all the way to Trisuli Bazzar which is the district head quarter of Nuwakot. This first part of our drive is quite smooth. We will have a Lunch in a Thakali (Known as a ethnic groups of Nepal who are famous for cooking varieties and delicious meal) Restaurant. From Trisuli Bazzar we drive ascend Dhunche check point. Your guide will arrange you for all entrance permits and their fees and you drive to Dhunche Bazzar. Dhunche Bzzar is located above 2800 meter above sea level offers several local shops, tea houses and tourist standard hotels. Dhunche is the starting point of our trek. It is beautiful village to have view of Langtang Lirung, Ganesh himal and Dhorje Lakpa and Langtang valley. Stay there overnight at lodge..
We continue ascend to Sing Gompa. The view of mountain will be wider day by day. We will see Langtang range, Ganesh himal, Tibetan Monestary, once we reach at Sing Gompa. We walk through forest of oak, hemlock and firs. We also will visit local cheese factory there. We stay there overnight at lodge..
At the first part, you might trek through the forest until you reach to Cholang Pati. The trail from here over Lauri Binayak until Gosaikunda is normally not eay ascends. From the top of the Lauribinayak hill to Gosaikunda offer very good trails as it is wider as well as change in vegetation too as the green vegetation becomes much deserted and rocky. From lauri Binayak takes about 2:30 hours to reach to Gosainkunda lake.
After lunch, you will hike around Gosaikunda to visit some beautiful pristine lakes and return to hotel for stay overnight.
Today we hike to the view point on very early in the morning to discover the great Himalayas in 360 deg angle. This is the best place to experience the whole Himalayan renge within 360 deg angle. Then we descend down to the hotel to take our luggages, then we walk again down hill all the way to Chandan bari.
Today we start our trek descending all the way down hill passing the nice forest. As soon as you arrive in Dunche, you can also visit the markets to see. Rest of the time is for relax.
You can drive all the way to kathmandu which takes about 7 hours roughly.

There are treks suitable for a wide range of experience and physical fitness. If you can walk uphill for a few hours each day, then you can find a suitable trek in Nepal. We created this trekking itinerary to allow for gradual height gain spread over a number of days. There is no way of predicting who will suffer from altitude, but for the vast majority of people, a slow ascent will produce minimal effects. Acclimatizing takes time and there are no safe shortcuts. For all trips to altitudes in excess of 3,000 meters, our guides carry medicines essential to the treatment of altitude illness; they are trained to track symptoms as well as administer medications but we recommend to you to carry medicine by yourself that is beneficial for you.
To be sufficiently protected in terms of insurance, you need specialized travel insurance for participation in hazardous activities. A travel insurance policy that covers emergency evacuation, trip injury, lost baggage, theft, liability, medical treatment and expenses is strongly recommended. Make sure the insurance covers all the activities that you will be undertaking during your stay in Nepal such as trekking and climbing. The climate of Nepal is as varied as its geography. The low-lying Terai has a sub-tropical monsoonal climate. The Himalaya where most of our treks take place, are best in the cool dry season from September to May. The traditional trekking season in Nepal is late September to December, with October and November generally recognized as having the best weather. Spring is also a popular time of year with warmer weather and the advantage of seeing spring flowers and rhododendrons in bloom. The visibility is good and days are pleasantly warm, although nights can be cold, and snow is possible above 3,000 meters.
This trekking is likely to have a wide range of temperatures depending on the altitude and the time of day. In the mountains up to 3,500m the nights will be cool, normally around 5 degree C, and during the day temperatures sometimes rise to 25 degree C. At higher altitudes temperatures range from about 15 degree C to -10 degree C.

Answer: This trek is suitable for keen trekkers/walkers who are able to walk around 4 or 5 hours in a day, with a light weight day pack. For this trekking - yes, you need to have experience in high altitude - somehow about 3000M above sea level.
Answer: We provide you tourist standard accommodation in Kathmandu and during the trekking routes. the rooms along the routes are clean with cozy bed with nice mattress and blankets. However we recommend you to take your own sleeping bags if you have one with you otherwise, you may rent it while you are in Kathmandu.
Answer: All the guest houses/lodges in the trekking they have attached restaurant and they cook a delicious range of mostly vegetarian such as Pasta, tuna bakes, noodles, potatoes, eggs, dhal bhat, bread, soups, fresh vegetables (variety depends on the season)
The dinner and breakfast are provided in the same lodge you spend the night every day and Lunch will be provided on the way to next place where you are going.
Answer: Tea house trekking all the lodges they have shower which you can get it somewhere paying and somewhere without paying however if you are in camping trekking - we provide you hot water bucket then you will take bucket shower.
Answer: During the trekking route there are all places hotel and shops where you can able to buy mineral water and you can buy it for drinking but however we advise against buying mineral water in plastic bottles, as currently there are no provisions for disposing of these. Instead, we provide you boiled water or bringing chlorine tablets to purify the normal water as the normal water is available in camp site/along the way in the camping trekking.
Answer: During the Tea house trekking there will be more chances to charge the battery. We recommend to you bring extra pair for incase. Remember to bring your adapters! And we recommend you to take extra batteries along with you.
Answer: In this trekking route you can get telephone services as well as internet services as well.
No! So, for the trekking routes you need to have cash Nepali rupees because credit cards works only in the bigger city tours / city areas.
Answer: Because our trips book up months in advance, we recommend booking early to avoid any kind of mis understanding. We will of course make every effort to accommodate last minute bookings.
And regarding the deposit, we prefer 20 % advance deposit of total price of the trip in order to conform your reservation before you arrive in Nepal. And rest of the payment can be made after your arrival in Kathmandu.
Answer: We provide porters to transfer your luggage. As we are a responsible trekking tour operator agency, our each porter carry maximum 25 kilo of your backpack which means 2 guest (12.5 kg luggage of each guest) : 1 porter basis.
Answer: When walking/trekking in the mountains, the distance you cover each day can vary greatly due to gradient, terrain and altitude. As such it is very hard to give specific distances on each day, however you have to be prepared to walk roughly about 5 hours each day.
Walking pools are recommended but not compulsory.
Answer: You can allocate US$ 08 - 10 for a lunch / dinner in Kathmandu and it depends on your spending habits. US$ 7 to 10 US$ each day will be enough to buy bottles of water, chocolates, tea coffee and some drinks while you are on trek.
