Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu valley

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, Tribhuvan International Airport, we will receive you with a private vehicle and transfer you to hotel in Kathmandu within B/B plan. Our representative will give you information about further programs.

Day 02: Documentation day ! Kathmandu city – World Heritage sites(1348m) sightseeing.

During this day, we make your Nar phu special permits. After lunch, we explore this medieval capital. We visit Boudhanath, also known as Little Tibet. Then we visit Pashupatinath, holy temple of Hindu where the cremation takes place by the holy river Bagmati. Later we visit Kathmandu Durbar Square and Syambhunath Stupa. And transfer to the hotel.

Day 03: Drive to Koto (2670 m), 10 hours

Early morning drive to Besi Sahar by Bus on a sharing basis through Prithvi High way but then we drive further to koto by private jeep also on a sharing basis. Its tough drive as it is a very long time drive with bumpy roads after Besi Sahar. Stay overnight in a guest house.

Day 04: Trek from Koto to Dharmasala (3300m), 6 hours

Start our Narphu valley trekking from Koto today, we will work through a steep and narrow path through the dense forest, after crossing the river the trek leads to Narphu valley passing the beautiful pine forest with wide waterfall before arriving the Dharmasala, we will get to see several small shelters (caves and pilgrims “Dharmasala”. Overnight camp at Dharmasala.

Day 05: Trek to Kayang (3560m), 6 hours.

The trail climb up the valley along the small river before arriving Meta (3700m), a non-permanent winter settlement of Nar, the trail passes through white rocks, low shrubs, junipers, scattered evergreen. We can have best Mountain View on the way, after passing the Junam we will arrive Chako formally a Khampa settlement. Overnight at Kayang.

Day 06: Trek to Phu village (4200m), 5 hours.

Today we will work steeply down the hill along the river bank and past the submarine rock with a small campsite. Best view of chortens wit the canyonlands and gorges takes us to the Phu gate from where we can see the three villages of Phu where we stay overnight.

Day 07: Rest at Phu village for Acclimatization and Exploring village

Again walking up and then coming back down is better, just resting in high altitude, we can walk up to alley to the summer grazing settlement at Ngoru, can spend the time interact with local people visit Gompa. Stay overnight at phu village.

Day 08: Phu village Trekking to Nar (4150m), 5 hours.

Today we will trek back to Phu gate Khyang, Chyarkha and Jhunam to reach to Nar. Along the way, we’ll get to see some beautiful gorges and some breathtaking scenery also. We will pass wonderfully painted, bamboo topped Chortens and arrive Nar gates on the top of the hill. Stay overnight at Nar village.

Day 09: Nar trekking to Kang La Phedi (4500m) , 4:30 hours.

Today is easy to short trekking day, so we can explore more Nar village in the morning and can trek to Kangla Phedi, the trail goes through the grazing field with a small stream on the left. The mountains were on both sides of the stream. On the left breathtaking view of Pisang peak, an overnight night at the campsite of Kangla Phedi.

Day 10: Kang La Phedi trekking up to Kang La pass (5315m) trek to Ngwal (3675m).

We start early morning today for the Spectacular Kang la pass which provides the magnificent view of Pisang peak, Annapurna II, Gangapurna, Tilicho peak, and the airport at Hongde, after crossing the Kang La Pass we will head to Ngwal, a wonderful old village of cobbled streets, prayer wheels and beautiful architecture.

Day 11: Trek to Manang (3570m), 6 hours

Today we will work thought flat valley along the bank of Marshyandi River. On the way, we will pass the pine forest, farming terrace, and the beautiful village of Braga. During the route we can visit Braga monasteries, the view of the Annapurna range and Tilicho peak are closer. Overnight in Manang.

Day 12: Optional excursion:

As you are in Manang if you have enough time, you can either continue your journey to discover either Tilicho lake excursion or trek over Thorong la pass. We can customize your itinerary according to your wishes so let us know. However, if you are traveling with limited days and would not like to continue trek taking a private jeep to descend downhill to Besisahar town. Overnight at Guesthouse.

Day 13: Drive back to Kathmandu.

From Besisahar, you can continue drive either to get Pokhara city or Kathmandu by cozy Micro Bus.

Day 14: Final departure day

Drop you in Kathmandu International Airport onward your final destination and our trip ends. Wish you your wonderful journey.

Answer: All the guesthouses along the trek routes in Nar Phu with ac trekking, they have attached restaurant and they cook a delicious range of mostly vegetarian such as Pasta, tuna bakes, noodles, potatoes, eggs, dhal bhat, bread, soups, fresh vegetables (variety depends on the season)
The dinner and breakfast are provided in the same lodge you spend the night every day and Lunch will be provided on the way to the next place where you are going.

Question: What opportunities will I have for shower Nar Phu trek?

Answer: Guest house trekking all the lodges they have a shower which you can get it somewhere paying and somewhere without paying however if you are in camping trekking – we provide you hot water bucket then you will take a bucket shower.

Question: How do I get drinking water on Nar Phu trek?

Answer: During the trekking route there are all places hotels and shops where you can able to buy mineral water and you can buy it for drinking but however we advise against buying mineral water in plastic bottles, as currently there are no provisions for disposing of these. Instead, we provide you boiled water or bringing chlorine tablets to purify the normal water as the normal water is available in campsite/along the way.

Question: Can I charge my digital camera or other batteries on my trip?

Answer: During the lodge trekking there will be more chances to charge the battery. We recommend you bring an extra pair for in case. Remember to bring your own adapters!

Answer: In this trekking route you can get telephone services as well as internet services as well.

Answer: No! So, for the trekking routes, you need to have cash Nepali rupees because credit cards work only in the bigger city areas.

Answer: Because our trips book up months in advance, we recommend booking early to avoid any kind of misunderstanding. We will, of course, make every effort to accommodate last minute bookings.
And regarding the deposit, we prefer 20% advance deposit of the total price of the trip in order to confirm your reservation before you arrive in Nepal. And the rest of the payment can be made after your arrival in Nepal.

Answer: We provide porters to transfer your luggage. As we are a responsible trekking tour operator agency, each of our porter carry maximum 25 kilos of your backpack which means 2 guests (12.5 kg luggage of each guest): 1 porter basis.

Question: How much distance do I walk each day?

Answer: When walking in the mountains, the distance you cover each day can vary greatly due to a gradient, terrain, and altitude. As such it is very hard to give specific distances on each day, however, you have to be prepared to walk roughly about 5 hours each day.

Question: Do I need walking polls ?

Answer: Walking pools are recommended but not compulsory.

Question: How much additional money do I need per day?

Answer: You can allocate US$ 08 – 10 for lunch/dinner in Kathmandu and it depends on your spending habits. US$ 7 to 10 US$ each day will be enough to buy bottles of water, chocolates, tea coffee, and some drinks while you are on trek.
