Day 01 : Arrival at Kathmandu valley

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, Tribhuwan International Airport, we will receive you in a private vehicle and transfer to hotel in Kathmandu accommodation with a breakfast plan. Our representative will give you information about further programs.

Day 02 : Overland drive to Nayapool Bazaar via Pokhara city. Trek to Birethanti (1,015 m), 8 hrs

At the morning, our trekking staff will pick up you at a hotel and escort to the bus station. You will drive by the beautiful rivers Trisuli and Marsyangdi which is very popular for rafting as well. The majestic Pokhara town is very popular for the panoramic view of the majestic Himalayas such as Annapurna, Machapuchare in the north, Dhaulagiri in the west, Lamjung Himal and Manaslu in the east. After around 7 hours of drive-by Bus, you will arrive at Nayappol Bazaar passing by Pokhara, a beautiful city of lakes, caves, Buddhist, and Hindu temples. As you arrive here, hike about 30 minutes further to get to Birethanti village. Birethanti is a large village with many shops and guesthouses. Stay overnight in Lodge.

Day 03 : Upper Ghorepani trek (2865m/9,369 feet), 7 hours

After breakfast half an hour drive to Naya Pul and start commence trek to Birethanti, a large and prosperous town beside the Modi River. We cross the main trail to Sudami where we climb gradually up the side of the valley, reaching Hile village of 1,495m before pushing on to Tikhe Dhunga. From here the trail crosses a stream and ascends with stone steps to the large Magar village at Ulleri (2070m). After Lunch at Ulleri, we trek through rhododendron and oak forests and across streams before making a short, final climb to Nangethanti. From Nangethanti we go up to Ghorepani upper village and stay overnight there.

Day 04 : Poon hill trek (3210m/10,497 feet), 7 hours

Early morning at about 5 am, we hike to get Poon Hill to see the Sunrise panoramic views of Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m.), Tukuche Peak (6920m.), Nilgiri (6940m.), Varaha Shikhar (7847m.), Mt. Annapurna I (8091m.), Annapurna South (7219m.), Annapurna III (7855m.), Machhapuchhare (6993m.), Annapurna IV (7525m.), Annapurna II (7937m.), Lamjung Himal (6931m.) and other numerous Snow covered mountains within left to right in 180 deg angle. Descend down along the rhododendron ridge and pine forest towards Chule hill passing Tadapani hill.

Day 05 : Bamboo village trek (2310m/7,554 feet), 7 hours

Walk through fertile land than cross suspension bridges which is very common in the hilly region in Himalayas. A few more miles of walking and we reach at Chhomrong, it is a beautiful village right below the giant Annapurna south. We walk downhill with the stone steps to Chomrong river, crossing river again, we need to ascend with stone steps to Sinuwa hill. Our trail passes through a beautiful small bamboo forest to Bamboo where we stay overnight.

Day 06 : Hike to Deurali hill Hotel (3230m/10,562 feet), 6 hours

We walk passing through the dense of bamboo forest. We walk uphill on a trail with some stones stair again. It is only after reaching the Himalaya Hotel that the forest opens up and we are out in the sun again with astounding views of great rook with the glacial Modi river below. walk to Hinku Cave than the trail descends to a Moraine river with a possible avalanche before ascending to Deurali. From here, we can enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding hills. Get enough information with a guide while you are crossing this possible avalanches area before crossing a river with waterfalls. Overnight in Deurali hill station.

Day 07 : Machapuchhare Base Camp trekking. Hike to Annapurna Base Camp (4130m/13,505 feet), 6 hours

Today, we start to go over Deurali’s viewpoint and walk further to the fishtail base camp. There are two different trails ahead of us; we follow the best way according to the season to Bagar and to Machapuchhare Base Camp (mbc). These areas are the most possibility for avalanches and always be careful during the journey. You should have good information from your experienced guide who is organizing by Gokyo Treks & Expedition, before you start your journey to MBC. Take it seriously because there are already a lot of people who lost their lives here from the viewpoint to Bagar. After Bagar, you are safe. Stay overnight at abc.

Day 08 : Early in the morning to hike to Annapurna Base Camp hill station (4140m/ 13,538 feet) & descend to Dovan, 7 hours

Hike to viewpoint to explore around. You will have an excellent view of the Annapurna massive within 360 deg angle. From here we can see Annapurna 1st, Annapurna south, Barah Shikhar, Tent peak, Machapuchhare, Hiunchuli, and many more snow-capped mountains as well as glacier. Having breakfast in ABC, just descend downhill walking to Machapuchhare base camp then continue our journey descending downhill to Dovan village passing several green valley and villages. Stay overnight at Dovan.

Day 09 : Jhinu Hot spring hikes (1500m/4,905 feet), 6 hours

The trail descends to Jhinu Danda leads through bamboo and Rhododendron forest with superb mountain views from Sinuwa village. Have in mind, the trail from Dovan to Bamboo is most subject to avalanches also. The trail leads down and up to stone steps to Chhomrung village. And descend down to Jhinu Danda where we can enjoy with natural hot spring in the banks of Modi River

Day 10 : Nayapul travel. Overland drive to Pokhara city

After breakfast, trek leads through intermittent bamboo and mixed forest. During the journey, you can pass through several villages, terraced and as well as flat land. You will have flat land from Syualibazar until Nayapool. After checkout from the Annapurna Conservation office, we trek furthermore 30 minutes to reach Nayapul where our car is waiting. After that drive to Pokhara by car 1: 30 hrs transfer to hotel on Fewa lakeside.

Day 11 : Drive to Kathmandu city. Transfer to the airport for your further journey

Morning we’ll drive back through the scenic countryside and during the route will stop for breakfast & lunch. It takes 7 hours back to Kathmandu. Drop you in Kathmandu International Airport onward your final destination and our trip ends. Wish you your wonderful journey.

Answer: During the trekking route there are all places hotels and shops where you can able to buy mineral water and you can buy it for drinking but however we advise against buying mineral water in plastic bottles, as currently there are no provisions for disposing of these. Instead, we provide you boiled water or bringing chlorine tablets to purify the normal water as the normal water is available in campsite/along the way.

Question: Can I charge my digital camera or other batteries on my trip?

Answer: During the lodge trekking there will be more chances to charge the battery. We recommend you bring an extra pair for in case. Remember to bring your adapters! An extra battery will be recommended.
