Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu valley. Transfer to hotel

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, Tribhuwan International Airport, we will receive you with private vehicle and transfer to hotel in Kathmandu within BB plan. Our representative will give you brief information about further programs.

Day 02 : Sightseeing of World Heritage sites (BB)

All aspects of gear and conditions are discussed to make sure you’re fully prepared for the trip, and any last-minute questions answered. Roughly about 10 AM, we explore this medieval capital, an ancient city of Kathmandu with a private tour guide. We visit Boudhanath (known as little Tibet), Then we visit Pasupatinath (holy temple of Hindu where the cremation takes place by the holy river Bagmati) and later we visit Kathmandu Durbar Square (recognize as a Hanuman Dhoka Durbar Square) and Syambhunath Stupa (Known as Monkey Temple).

Day 03: Drive to Syabrubensi Bazaar (1,460m/4788 feet), 7 hrs

Have breakfast at the hotel, drive few minutes to catch up the coach for Syabrubeshi with your mountain trekking guide and porters. Enjoy seven of our scenic drive through Trishuli bazaar with beautiful small villages, river valley, and mountains. The bus stops roughly about 30 minutes on highway restaurants for lunch in Trisuli. You will be reached at Syabrubeshi bazaar around 2 or 3 o’clock midday. Stay overnight in a lodge at Syabrubeshi.

Day 04: Syabrubesi to Gatlang Village trekking (2238m/7,318 feet), 6 hours)

In the morning after breakfast, you continue steep ascents until Rongga Bhanjyang which takes about 3 hours. Then the trail descends till Goljung village which takes about 45 minutes. You stop for the Lunch. After lunch, you continue again gentle up until reaching Traditional Tamang village in Gatlang. It takes about 3 hours. You can visit the Parbati Kund which offers rich biodiversity for nature lovers. You can also visit the ancient old monastery. Overnight in Lodge.

Day 05: Gatlang to Tatopani trek (2607m/8,525 feet), 6 hours

In this day, you start your trek gentle descent passing the many Chhortens and Mani wall and through the deep forests until reaching Chilime. It takes about 2:30 hours. Then you cross by a suspension bridge and climb up passing the terrace until reaching Gonggang village which takes about 1:30 hours. Then the trail gentle ascends until reaching Tatopani which takes about maximum 2 hours. You can take a natural bath in a hot spring. It is believed that to take a Bath in natural Hot Spring, washes away all the Pains and aches. Overnight in Lodge.

Day 06 : Nagthali Gyang Trek (3165m/10,350 feet), 5 hours

In the morning after breakfast, you continue through the forests to reach in Nagthali viewpoint. The trail is up and down till Brimdang where one monastery is situated on the hill. Then the trail gentle ascends until reaching Nagthali’s viewpoint which takes about 2 hours. You have lunch here. You have a great view of Langtang Lirung, Shishapangma, Ganesh Himal, Tibetan Himal, and other snowy peaks. Overnight in Lodge.

Day 07 : Timure hikes (1762m / 5,762 feet), 5:30 hours

In the morning after enjoying with Himalayan scenery and sunrise view, the trail descends till Thuman village which takes about 1:30 hours. You can stop for Tea break because you do not find any hotel till Timure. Then you again descends till Bhote Koshi Nadi and cross by a suspension bridge. Now the trail continues upstream of Bhote Koshi until reaching Timure village which takes about 4 hours. Overnight in Lodge.

Day 08 : Excursion to Rasuwagadhi 1815m and back to Timure

In this day, you start your trek to Rasuwagadhi after breakfast. The trail gently ascends until reaching Rasuwagadhi which takes about 2 hours. This is an old trade route to Tibet and the historical fort of Rasuwagadhi. After visiting the Rasuwagadhi back to Lodge. During the takes about 1:30 hours. You have lunch here and explore around, stay overnight in Lodge.

Day 09 : Timure to Briddhim trekking (2,230m / 7,292 feet), 5 hours)

In the morning after breakfast, you continue the trail upstream of Bhote Koshi until reaching Lingling which takes about 3 hours. You have a lunch break here. After lunch, the trail gently ascends to Briddhim village. It takes about 2 hours. This is a small and beautiful Tamang village. It offers the cultural experience of the Himalayas in the form of Home-Stay. You can visit an ancient old monastery. Overnight in the guest house.

Day 10 : Briddhim to Syabrubensi trekking (1,460m/4,774 feet), 3 hours,

After breakfast, we trek easy descend downhill walking to Syabrubesi bazaar. It takes only about 3 hours as a normal trek duration. Lunch and rest of the daytime are free. Dinner and overnight at Syabrubesi. Syabrubensi bazaar is a gateway to China or a gateway to discovering Langtang trekking. Day 11 : Drive back to Kathmandu with same road

After breakfast, catch a coach to return Kathmandu valley. After reaching in Kathmandu, you will be taken to your hotel. In the late afternoon, you can stroll around Thamel, the major tourist destination of Kathmandu. You can do some last-minute shopping of souvenirs for your family and relatives

Day 12 : Final departure day

Drop you in Kathmandu International Airport onward your final destination and our trip ends. Wish you your wonderful journey.

Answer: Tea house trekking all the lodges they have a shower which you can get it somewhere paying and somewhere without paying however if you are in camping trekking – we provide you hot water bucket then you will take a bucket shower.

Answer: During the Tamang heritage trek route there are all places hotels and shops where you can able to buy mineral water and you can buy it for drinking but however we advise against buying mineral water in plastic bottles, as currently there are no provisions for disposing of these. Instead, we provide you boiled water or bring chlorine tablets to purify the normal water as the normal water is available in the campsite/along the way.

Question: Can I charge my digital camera or other batteries on my trip?.

Answer: During the lodge trekking there will be more chances to charge the battery. We recommend you bring an extra pair for in case. Remember to bring your own adapters!

Answer: No! You need to have cash Nepali rupees because credit cards work only in the bigger city areas.

Question: How much distance do I walk each day?.

Answer: When walking in the mountains, the distance you cover each day can vary greatly due to a gradient, terrain, and altitude. As such it is very hard to give specific distances on each day, however, you have to be prepared to walk roughly about 5 hours each day.

Question: Do I need walking polls ?.

Walking pools are recommended but not compulsory.

Question: How much additional money do I need per day?.

Answer: You can allocate US$ 08 – 10 for a lunch/dinner in Kathmandu and it depends on your spending habits. US$ 7 to 10 US$ each day will be enough to buy bottles of water, chocolates, tea coffee, and some drinks while you are on trek.
