1 DayArrival in TIA airport in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu, you will be warmly welcomed by our airport representative who will transfer you to your hotel in the Kathmandu Valley in a private vehicle. After a welcome drink and room check-in, we will briefly discuss your upcoming trek. If you’re feeling up to it, you may take a short walk to explore nearby areas of the city.
2 Day Fly to Pokhara City. Drive to Dhampus and trek to Deurali hill top (2,100m/6,867 Feet), 5 hoursIn the morning, you’ll take a scenic 25 minutes flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara, offering stunning aerial views of the Annapurna and Langtang mountain ranges. Upon landing, you’ll meet the rest of the team and continue with a single hour drive to Dhampus hill.
From there, the trek begins with a steady uphill climb via stone steps, passing terraced fields, small settlements, and forested paths. You’ll reach Dhampus and Pothana villages, which offer excellent views of Annapurna South and Mt. Machapuchare (Fishtail). winds the journey gently for another hour through vibrant rhododendron forest, eventually reaching a picturesque ridge at Deurali. From here, you’re rewarded with panoramic views stretching across the Mardi Khola valley, the majestic peaks of Annapurna South and Hiunchuli, as well as the distant cityscape of Pokhara and the tranquil waters of Phewa Lake.
3 Day Trek to Forest Camp (2,500m/8,175 feet), 6 hoursToday’s trek from Deurali to Forest Camp takes you along a quiet pine forest trail, gradually ascending through a serene and shaded landscape. This forest is rich with rhododendron trees, especially vibrant in spring. Since there are no teahouses or restaurants along the trail, a packed lunch will be provided for the day.
4 Day Trek to High Camp (3,550m/11,609 feet), 5 hours.Along the way, enjoy some of the clearest and most breathtaking views of Mt. Machapuchare. Pass the scenic viewpoints and hill stations with panoramic vistas of the Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Chhomrong Village, Ghandruk, and the entire Annapurna region. You’ll also encounter rich alpine vegetation and experience the culture of the Gurung and Thakali communities. Tonight, you’ll stay at a mountain lodge in High Camp.
5 Day Hike to Mardi view point (4,200m/13,780 feet) and descend to Badal danda (3,210m/10,532 feet), 6 hours.After breakfast at High Camp, we set out with packed lunches for an exhilarating hike to Mardi Himal Base Camp (4,500 m). You can climbs steep, rocky ridges separated by lush green slopes and alpine pastures. Enjoy lunch with a 360‑degree panorama that includes Mardi Himal, Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Tent Peak, Gangapurna, Gandarbhachuli, and the striking west face of Mt. Machapuchare. By late afternoon we descend to High Camp and spend a second night in the lodge.
6 Day Badal Danda to Sidding (1,700m/5,559 feet) and Pokhara return, 6 hoursWatch sunrise paint the peaks, then begin a continuous descent through rhododendron forest to Low Camp for lunch, continuing on to the traditional Gurung settlement of Siding. If you are short on time, an optional shared jeep can take you directly to Pokhara. If you have a time permits then explore the charms of Pokhara like a Phewa Lake, vibrant cafés, and local markets at your own pace.
7 DayPokhara to Kathmandu by Bus [or flight option].Following breakfast, travel to Kathmandu either by comfortable tourist bus (7 hours) or on a short 35 minutes flight. Remaining of the day is free for last minute shopping in the old city or simply relaxing before tomorrow’s departure.
8 Day Kathmandu Valley Highlights and DepartureAt 08:00, join your guide for a three hours cultural tour of Kathmandu Durbar Square and Swayambhunath Stupa. In the late afternoon, transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward flight—carrying cherished memories of Nepal and the Mardi Himal adventure. Mardi Himal weather
