Day 01 : Arrival day in Kathmandu valley

Upon arrival in Kathmandu airport we will receive you with private car and transfer to hotel in Kathmandu city with breakfast. Our representative will give you information about khopra ridge trek itinerary further programs.

Day 02 : Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (914m/2,989 feet) 6 hours

Pokhara lakeside located at 210 kilometers west of Kathmandu. During the khopra hiking, you can drive over the beautiful terraced fields with river valley to Pokhara. Having stunning weather, Pokhara is tourist’s hub full of natural as well as cultural heritage sites such as blue lakes, mystical caves, ancient temples of Buddhist and Hindus along with mountains. You can observe views to the north across the hills and Phewa Tal (lake) to the white peaks of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. You can also take a flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara instead of drive.

Day 03 : Drive to Nayapul Bazaar (1,010m). Tikhedunga village Trek (1,570m/5,150 ft), 4 hours

The first-day trek start at Nayapull after 1 and a half hour driving by private vehicle from Pokhara. After 20 minutes short walk along the banks of the Modi Khola, we reach Birethanti (1015m) a large village that has many shops and teahouses inhabitance of Gurung, Magar, and Thakali.

Trail continues following the north bank of the Bhurungdi Khola through villages and climbs steadily up the side of the valley to Hille and after the short climb, we reach Tikhedhunga. Today’s treks offer a short and comparatively easy day, during the journey allowing getting used to the experience of trekking in Nepal.

Day 04 : Ghorepani trekking (2,840m/9,315 ft), 6 hours

After breakfast, we begin our journey with a steep climb to large Magar village at Ulleri (2070m) after a crossed bridge. The trail leads us to continue to ascend more gently, through dense forests of oak and rhododendrons towards Banthanti (2250m). Occasionally, we can see Lonmgur (long tail black mouth Monkey) jumping on the tree. Hike to Nangethanti (2460m), after an hour walk we arrive at Ghorepani (2840m).

Day 05 : Poon Hill hiking (3,210m/10,497 feet). Trek to Dobato (4020m/13,146 feet), 6 hours

We begin our journey at early morning with touch light to Poon Hill hiking. It takes about 90 minutes to ascend to the poon hilltop. Majestic Poon hill is top first most popular hill station to observe sunrise and sunset over annapurna range. While on the sunrise, you can see Dhaulagiri (8,167m) from the very left side to Lamjung Himal including Annapurna I (8,091m), Annapurna South etc in a row. Return to Ghorepani for a hot breakfast and start hikes over Deurali pass and continue our journey to ascend Dobato. Dobato has community-based lodges.

Day 06 : Muldai peak sunrise | khopra danda trek / Khopra ridge hike (3,660m/11,969 feet), 6:30 hours

Day 07 : Trek descend to Chhistibung (3100m/10,137 feet), 6 hours

Today, we descend the same way through rhododendron forest to Chhistibung.

Day 06 : Ghandruk village trek (1940m/6,344 feet) via Tadapani hilltop (2520m/8,240 feet), 7 hours

The trail goes downhill walking gently along ridges with pine and rhododendron forests to Tadapani village, a descent through main trekking route with the beautiful waterfall, stream, and dense forest to the Bhaisekharka.

The stream has some clear pools alongside the trail and we walk further downhill to Ghandruk village. Ghaundrung village the second-largest Gurung settlement in Nepal, an inhabitant of Gurung people. Ghandruk village offers excellent sunrise with mountains changeable face. If you have time enough than visiting the Gurung museum.

Day 07 : Trek from Ghandruk to Nayapull village, Drive to Pokhara (950m/3,107 feet) 3:45 hours

Today is our last day of trekking; we complete our trek in Nayapull at the elevation of 1010m, short and easy walking through the beautiful rice terraces with tiny villages combine with mixed ethnic group settlement. As soon as you reach Nayapool Bazaar, we take a private taxi (roughly drive 1 and half hour) or private car followed by a ride back to Pokhara, a peaceful lakeside city harboring a unique setting of tropical climate and vegetation with the dramatic backdrop of the Himalayas.

Day 08 : Explore day around Pokhara Valley

After late breakfast, we will start sight scene around Pokhara valley.
