Day 01: Meet at Kathmandu Airport and transfer to hotel (1,350m)

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, Tribhuvan International Airport, we will receive you with private vehicle and transfer to hotel in Kathmandu with breakfast plan. Our representative will give you information about Annapurna base camp trek further programs.

Day 02: Full day Sightseeing in Kathmandu valley, 5-7 hours

Day 03: Drive or fly to Pokhara

Day 04: Drive to Nayapul Bazaar (1050m.). Trek to Tikhedunga (1577m/5,157 feet), 5 hours

After having breakfast at the hotel we start our driving to Nayapul which takes approximately one and a half hours. We conduct our journey to Tikhedhunga Via Birethanti (1065m.). It is easy trekking passing through several small villages and settlements. We ascend gently to the final destination of the day.

Day 05 : Ghorepani trek (2874m/9,398 feet), 6 Hours

Today, we ascend steeply for the first 2 hours and ascend gently passing through Ulleri (2070m.) and Banthanti to get Ghorepani Guest houses. Along the day tour, you will see a best view of Machhapuchhare known as Fish Tail (6997m.), Hiunchuli (6441m.), and Annapurna (7219m) south on the way. Now, our trail is quite easier passing through rhododendron and shadowy trees and ascends gently up to the final camp at Ghorepani village.

Day 06 : Hike to Poon Hill station (3215m/10,513 feet). Tadapani trek (2,650m/8,666 feet), 7 hours

Today, we hike to Poon Hill station to enjoy the sunrise view over the Himalayan horizon. As you watch, the sun is rising over the mountain Dhaulagiri (8167m.), Tukuche Peak (6920m.), Nilgiri (6940m.), Varaha Shikhar (7847m.), Mt. Annapurna I (8091m.), Annapurna South (7219m.), Annapurna III (7855m.), Machhapuchhare (6993m.), Annapurna IV (7525m.), Annapurna II (7937m.), Lamjung Himal (6931m.) and other numerous mountains.

Day 07 : Trek from Tadapani to Chomrong (2,170m/7,096 feet), 6 hours

It is a very easy trek by descending gently all the way through rhododendron, oak, and other kinds of dense forests. We will hear different kinds of birds chirping on the way to Kimrung Khola. Immediately, ascend steeply and walk at a level for 45 minutes and gently steeps and flat to Chomrong which is the only one gateway to Annapurna base camp / Annapurna sanctuary.

Day 08 : Chhomrong to Himalaya Hotel (2,950m/9,446 feet), 7 hours

Today, we will our first step with a stone step to the river Chomrong, cross the river and hike to Sinuwa village where there are few lodges. Walking with dense forest to bamboo place. Where there are some lodges and guest houses too. On the way, we will see the wildlife like wild boar, monkey, rhesus and other wild birds with including Danphe pheasant.

Day 09 : Himalaya hotel to Machapuchhare Base Camp (3,700m/12,099 feet), 6 hours

Today, we start to go over Deurali viewpoint and walk further to MBC. There are two different trails ahead of us; we follow the best way according to the season to Bagar and to MBC. These areas are the most possibility for avalanches and always be careful during the journey. You should have good information from your experienced guide who is organizing by Gokyo Treks & Expedition, before you start your journey to MBC. Take it seriously because there are already a lot of people who lost their lives here from viewpoint to Bagar. After Bagar, you are safe.

Day 10 : Annapurna base camp trek (4,130m/13,505 feet) & descend to Dovan (2,540m), 8 hours.

After sunny breakfast, walk all the way uphill to the ABC hilltop. The trail follows the left-hand tributary of the Modi Khola. You can see the sunrise with a natural Panoramic spectacular view from the viewpoint of ABC. From here we can see Annapurna 1st, Annapurna south, Barah Shikhar, Tent peak and Machapuchhare. Having breakfast in ABC, just descend down to Machapuchhare base camp. We can met the crew and taking all stuff descend downhill to Dovan village passing several green valley and villages.

Day 11 : Dovan to Jhinu Hotspring (1,750m /5,723 feet), 7 hours

The trail descends to Jhinu Danda leads through bamboo and rhododendron forest with superb mountain views from Sinuwa village. Have in mind, the trail from Dovan to Bamboo is most subject to avalanches also. The trail leads down and up to stone steps to Chhomrung village. And descend down to Jhinu Danda where we can enjoy with natural hot spring in the banks of Modi River.

Day 12 : Jhinu Danda to Nayapul. Overland drive to Pokhara. 6 hours

After breakfast, trek leads through intermittent bamboo and mixed forest. During the journey, you can pass through several villages, terraced and as well as flat land. You will have flat land from Syualibazar until Nayapool. After checkout from Annapurna Conservation office, we trek furthermore 30 minutes to reach Nayapul where our car is waiting to transfer back at the hotel on Phewa lake.

Day 13 : Drive to Kathmandu 6 hours. Final departure

Morning we’ll drive back through the scenic countryside and during the route will stop for breakfast & lunch. It takes 7 hours back to Kathmandu. On arrival at Kathmandu, our guide will help you to drop you to your hotel to transfer. Rest of the day relax or explore the surrounding areas. Instead, we provide you boiled water or bringing chlorine tablets to purify the normal water as the normal water is available in campsite/along the way.

Question: Can I charge my digital camera or other batteries on my trip?

Answer: During the lodge trekking there will be more chances to charge the battery. We recommend you bring an extra pair for in case. Remember to bring your adapters! An extra battery will be recommended.

Answer: When walking in the mountains, the distance you cover each day can vary greatly due to a gradient, terrain, and altitude. As such it is very hard to give specific distances on each day, however, you have to be prepared to walk roughly about 5 hours each day.

Answer: Walking pools are recommended but not compulsory.
